Ajmichalka

AJ Michalka was born in Torrance, Calif. Her mother, Carrie, who is also a musician, inspired her to be a musician. Born in Torrance, California, AJ was inspired by her mother, Carrie, who herself was an accomplished musician. AJ was a part of her growing up in Torrance as well as Seattle and Milwaukee. The sisters were young when they began playing the piano and guitar. They were already well versed in their field when they entered an adolescent age. AJ began performing at the age of five and performed in church shows. AJ played in productions for her school. AJ began her acting career in 2002, when she was an 11 year old girl with one small part in the television series 'Passions.
